Alfred Richard developed a diverse selection of quality tools over the duration of 5 decades. After 5 decades, A. Richard wanted to sell his business to the Panfili and Gregoire families. They committed to carrying on a family-run corporate operation. In 1942, the A. Richard Company moved to Berthierville.



In 1997, a third-generation of the Panfili and Gregoire groups took the corporation over from their seniors. A. Richard attained over 85% of the wall finishing hand tool industry in Canada. By 2003, they joined Hyde Tools, Inc.

By 2006, A. Richard took over a roller and paintbrush distributor and manufacturer called Roultech. Each of the businesses created a capable team that combined marketing and advancement by A. Richard with Roultech’s abilities to successfully handle the applicator sector.
A. Richard attained Roultech in 2006, a paint brush and roller developer and distributor. Combining expertise and experience in marketing and creation generated a profitable business company able to secure the paint applicator market. Nowadays, the company creates more than 1200 products that are sold in 14 countries.
